Finnish neurotech Audicin raises $1.9M to expand app, headband and SDK

Audicin, a Finnish neurotechnology startup, raised $1.9 million in a funding round, the company said. Backers named by Audicin include Virpi Tuomivaara and Petteri Lahtela.

The new capital brings the company’s total raised to about $3 million, Audicin said. The funds will go toward expanding operations and sales, and advancing product development.

Founded in 2022 by Laura Avonius and Dr Victoria Williamson, Audicin offers an app and a sleep headband that the company says deliver the benefits of mindfulness in minutes. The app includes curated musical journeys intended for use across daily states—work, focus, creativity, mood, commute, relaxation and sleep—and Audicin positions the tools as ways to reduce burnout, insomnia and symptoms of an overstimulated nervous system.

Audicin also disclosed support from Business Finland’s Deep Tech Accelerator, a phased non-dilutive programme tied to technical and commercial milestones.

For product partners, Audicin is developing a lightweight software development kit (SDK) it says will let digital health, performance and consumer platforms embed real-time nervous-system regulation into their user experiences without requiring new hardware.

The company provided the funding and product details to FinSMEs on April 5, 2026.
