Stockholm-based BRYM has raised €650,000 in a pre-seed round led by Lotus One Investment, with participation from Antler, to develop a wearable neurofeedback platform.

The company, founded by Charlie Ohlén and Nils Hagberg, develops wearable EEG (electroencephalography) technology and gamified neurofeedback aimed at improving focus and cognitive resilience. BRYM said initial pilots in automotive manufacturing reduced operator errors by 46 percent; the company described those results as early pilot data.

BRYM said the new funding will be used to design, develop and manufacture a proprietary EEG headband to support larger enterprise deployments across Europe. The company also expects the hardware to enable a shift to a subscription-based business model.

"We've proven that by treating focus as a trainable skill, we can directly impact a person's mental resilience and a company's bottom line," Charlie Ohlén, CEO and co-founder, said. "This funding enables us to build our own affordable hardware and bring the technology to a much wider market."

BRYM has initially marketed its platform to manufacturing clients where sustained attention affects safety and productivity. The company plans to expand into education, professional sports and workplace wellbeing, according to its announcement.
