The 2025 World Congress of Psychotherapy Took Place at Sigmund Freud University, Vienna

From July 16th to 19th, 2025, the renowned World Congress of Psychotherapy (WCP) was held at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna, gathering leading experts, clinicians, and innovators in the field of psychotherapy from around the world.

The event took place across two neighboring buildings at Freudplatz 1 and Freudplatz 3, providing a unique academic environment deeply connected to the legacy of Sigmund Freud himself. The congress featured a rich program of lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions, highlighting the latest research, therapeutic approaches, and the intersection of psychotherapy with modern technologies.

Why was this event important for us at BrainPatch?

The World Congress of Psychotherapy is one of the key international forums shaping the future of mental health and therapy. This year’s congress included dedicated discussions on neurotechnology, brain-computer interfaces, and the application of innovative solutions—such as e-Meditation and non-invasive brain stimulation—in clinical and everyday settings.

For BrainPatch, participation and presence at WCP 2025 means:

  • Staying at the forefront of scientific dialogue in psychotherapy and mental wellness

  • Showcasing our latest developments to leading practitioners and researchers

  • Building partnerships with the global psychotherapy community

  • Gaining direct feedback from professionals interested in integrating neurotechnology into their practice

We are grateful to the organizers and all participants for creating an inspiring atmosphere and driving progress in the science and art of psychotherapy. Insights and contacts gained at the WCP 2025 will help us further improve our products and support the mental health community worldwide.
